Objectives of NEEM
To offer on-the-job practical training to enhance employability for those who are:
- Pursuing their Diploma/Graduation/Post-Graduation in any technical or non-technical stream.
- Have discontinued studies after Class 10th.
NEEM Facilitator
The Government of India has outlined rules and eligibility criteria for being a NEEM Facilitator. A NEEM facilitator acts as the nexus between the company and the student. The company/industry and the facilitators sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The facilitator, based on the company’s requirements, develops skill programs for students. It’s important to note that this scheme does not guarantee employment, and no grant is provided to the facilitator.
