Job description
- Generating daily and periodic MIS reports, monitor ‘End of Day’ activities, discuss concern area with Inbound and Outbound team, support DC operation to achieve 100% store fill rate.
- Maintaining WMS system, storage area management by bin optimization for space utilization, material flow layout changes, and daily replenishment of stocks from reserve to forward area.
- Carry out Cycle Count on a periodic basis based on fast moving, slow moving and non-moving items. Prepare Cycle Count Schedule ensuring that all MCs in DC are covered once in a quarter.
- Responsible for Inventory accuracy and conduct verification – physical versus system inventory.
- Ensure Bin-wise verification of inventory.
- Get the CC Discrepancy posted with help of HO after approval from DC Manager.
- Ensure all available stocks in Non pickable locations are moved.
- Ensure that all damaged Inventory identified during picking or cycle count is moved physically to damaged Inventory Area & in system to Proper Location after getting approval from DC Manager.
- Interacting with stores, inter department for consumables stock availability and control replenishment of consumables at DC level.
- Ensure all SKUs of relevant MC are lying in the correct Locations.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis for discrepancies and put processes that such errors are not repeated in future.
- To maintain SOPs for all the activities in the Warehouse.
- To ensure all process parameters are in place for successful completion of customer process audits.
- Conduct refresher training sessions for all processes.
