Dr. Sanjay Zope

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: –

Dr. Sanjay Bhaskar Zope is a highly accomplished and experienced educator, administrator, and researcher with over 37 years of experience in the field of engineering. He is currently the Principal of Sahyadri Valley College of Engineering & Technology, Alepahata, Pune, and the Chairman of the Pune Local Centre of the Institution of Engineers (India).

Dr. Zope holds a Ph.D. in Production Engineering from the University of Pune, as well as a Master’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering & Automation) and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering). He is also a Chartered Engineer and an approved Valuer.

Dr. Zope has a wide range of experience in teaching, administrative training, and research. He has worked as a Professor, Head of Department, Workshop Superintendent, and Principal at various engineering colleges and polytechnics. He has also worked as a member of various boards and committees, including the Board of Studies, Production & Industrial Engineering, SPPU, Pune; the Faculty of Engineering, SPPU, Pune; and the Pune District Skill Development Committee, Pune.

Dr. Zope is a highly published author, with over 15 papers published in national and international conferences and journals. He also holds a patent for his work on hybrid electric vehicles.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Zope is also a member of various professional organizations, including the Indian Society for Technical Education, the Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering, the Indian Institute of Production Engineers, the Institution of Engineers (India), and the Institution of Valuers.

He has been running a Partnership Firm and A company for Skilling and Training of the youth, have signed MOU’s with more than 190 Industries and Multinational companies.

With over a decade of experience in this field, he has established strong connections with top management in numerous companies.
